The Annals of University “Dunarea de Jos” of Galati, Fascicle III Electrotechnics, Electronics, Automatic Control and Informatics (ISSN 2344 – 4738, ISSNL 1221-454X) is an international open source journal, which means that all content is freely available without any charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author, under the provisions of a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International - CC BY-NC 4.0 license. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

The main goal of the journal is to provide a forum for exchanging recent research and scientific results in the general areas of electrical and electronic systems, automatic control and process automation, artificial intelligence and information technology. The journal is published in English, continuously, starting 1978. Since 2008, the journal has two issues per year, published online in June and December.

The average number of papers published in each issue varies between 5 and 15 papers. Each proposal is evaluated by two independent reviewers. More information about the review process is available here.

We are currently in a process of transformation of the journal activities. While keeping the general scope, we are striving to improve the overall visibility and we will submit proposals for inclusion in several other indexing databases.
