Ștefan Haghi Ștefan în arhivele Securității

Abstract

Ștefan Haghi Ștefan was an important figure of the National Liberal Party in Galati, and one of the city mayors during the interwar. Although his mandate as a mayor was short-termed, Ștefan Haghi Ștefan played a significant role in the city development alongside modern coordinates.
This study brings forth several unedited mentions, present in the Archives of Securitate, referring to the way in which Ștefan Haghi Ștefan was monitored and persecuted by the communist authorities although he was already very old.
