Abstract

This analysis proves that the Adamaoua region constitutes a heterogeneous realm with respect to its geography, history, sociology, its economic resources and its diverse forms of cultural expression. But in spite of its diversity, which must be taken into consideration, this social architecture is not entirely artificial, but reveals itself as highly significant.
