Abstract

This study aims to explore the involvement of the African masses and of the African Diaspora towards the realization of the United States of Africa. The necessity to join the efforts of the leaders and the common people could unveil a path out of the political crisis which keeps the leaders divided as far as the realization of this project is concerned. Such a stand would certainly reduce the opportunities to act of the afro-pessimistic leaders who comfortably confine themselves to the position of an everlasting opposition towards this pan-African ideal. Through this strategy, the social forces could overrun the egoism of their leaders. The method of the diagnosis of participation could be adopted in order to receive the message uttered by the lower levels of the African society.
Through this endeavors, the utopia of the United States of Africa could turn into a pragmatic project circumscribed by the real historical time.
