Studies and Research on the Corrosion Behavior in K2SO4 of Some Laser Deposited Coatings

Abstract
The paper presents a series of experimental investigations regarding the corrosion behavior in a K2SO4 – 0.5M solution of laser-deposited layers using a Ni-Cr-B-Fe-Al alloy, compared to the substrate material made of 1C45 steel. Corrosion resistance can be influenced by the deposition parameters, which determine the stress state, chemical inhomogeneity, defects, and discontinuities within the surface layer, as well as subsequent processing.
