Abstract

St. John Chrysostom’s work abounds in strong theological ideas. His theological thinking is deep-rooted in his experience of great sanctity, and his work is the product of this “engagement” of faith and love, in God. The present study aims at a theological analysis about the concept of the ineffable reality of “divine glory”. Contrary, using the word, St. John Chrysostom was examined and what “vainglory” is – spiritual barrier against the growth and the fulfillment of man in God.
