Abstract

Faced with suffering, man becomes uneasy, scared and overwhelmed. He searches desperately for help and finds a partial support in his doctor and receives poor chances of healing by the therapy he undertakes. But, most of the sick persons, often unbelievers in their prior life, rediscover the faith in God and resort to the Church “pharmacy”. Out of the many “medicines” found here, the most efficient is the Holy Unction through which God restores health to the sick person, and if His plans do not foresee this, God gives him patience and strength to carry the disease as a personal cross.
That is why the spiritual therapy is the most efficient, because it starts in this earthly life, but the sick person enjoys its fruits in Heaven, with God, for an eternity.
