Religie, modernitate, sacralitate. O privire retrospectivă asupra pandemiei de COVID 19
Abstract
This article aims to analyze the way in which the Orthodox religion
and two of its most important ritual practices (Pilgrimage and Communion) were
perceived by society and reflected in the mass media during the COVID‑19 crisis. The
time that has passed since those events has allowed for a more measured and detached
approach to the facts, as well as a better understanding of what has remained active
from that period, such as, for example, the practice of conducting liturgical services
outdoors in some parishes.
