Abstract

This paper analyses the wires/fibers extrusion process and develops a study of the cooling channel optimum length dependence on the
material and process parameters: the Peclet number and the cooling channel propertiesc. As a consequence, guidelines are presented for wires
and fibers extrusion system design.
