Abstract

In artificial intelligence, knowledge representation is one of the fundamental concepts, which aim to transpose the information about the world in a way that allows the computers to "understand" it. This article briefly describes the most important formalisms used for natural language representation, along with their specific ways of reasoning. We also present (make) a comparative study, analyzing the characteristics of these methods, highlighting their advantages and disadvantages.
