Abstract

The work of Adi G. Secară, a poet of the 2000s, situated within the realm of linguistic experimentation, subtly, subtextually, and ostensibly abstractly configures a genuine aesthetic way of teaching. As such, the reader is encouraged to actively participate in various stylistic experiments, to detach oneself from the automaticity of reception, and to move between a radiant, insightful, and metaphysical poetic language (“Reader, Beautiful Reader, love me as an unique beggar”) and another, fractured, absurd, confessional, and self-reflexive expression (“I do carry poetry on my shoulder or Poetry / carries me as if I were a sack of bones and words, either upon on a shield or under a shield, / towards my inspiration; ... I then absurdly drenched the grave / without having sown a seed / on an August day"). Through dozens of imaging knots, the reader needs to reconstruct the semantic path, becoming a co-author of the poem. Thus, reading becomes a cognitive exercise, not just an aesthetic pursuit.

This is demonstrated by the study through a discussion of the wars and conflicts the world has witnessed and continues to witness in the struggle for control of this vital resource. The struggle of major powers over it and their competition for access to its sources has driven every country that possesses this resource, especially weaker nations, to become a target
