Abstract
The work of Adi G. Secară, a poet of the 2000s, situated within the realm of linguistic experimentation, subtly, subtextually, and ostensibly abstractly configures a genuine aesthetic way of teaching. As such, the reader is encouraged to actively participate in various stylistic experiments, to detach oneself from the automaticity of reception, and to move between a radiant, insightful, and metaphysical poetic language (“Reader, Beautiful Reader, love me as an unique beggar”) and another, fractured, absurd, confessional, and self-reflexive expression (“I do carry poetry on my shoulder or Poetry / carries me as if I were a sack of bones and words, either upon on a shield or under a shield, / towards my inspiration; ... I then absurdly drenched the grave / without having sown a seed / on an August day"). Through dozens of imaging knots, the reader needs to reconstruct the semantic path, becoming a co-author of the poem. Thus, reading becomes a cognitive exercise, not just an aesthetic pursuit.
This is demonstrated by the study through a discussion of the wars and conflicts the world has witnessed and continues to witness in the struggle for control of this vital resource.
