Ut pictura poesis- incursiuni caricaturale și elemente de portret în opera lui Barbu Șt. Delavrancea

Abstract

The research that I propose, entitled Ut pictura poesis- charicature incursion
and elements of portrait in the work of Barbu Șt. Delavrancea targets a detailed analysis
of the way in which Liviu Rebreanu sketch his characters from the charicatural point of
view. The desideration of this work is to realise an osmotic relationship between the
language of the two arts: the ones from the sfere of literature and the ones from
paintings, more broadly put, the relationship between the word and its statuary form of
representation. In this research, I will analyze two short stories written by Barbu
Ștefănescu Delavrancea: Zobie and Milogul.
