Abstract

For the writer V. Voiculescu, the rural space represented the mirror reflecting the unusual faces of its existence. I will follow in this work the evolution of fantasy determined by the network of affective associations developed by the matrix space: the parental house / the soul-house. Vasile Voiculescu is the writer who adds to the existence a metaphysical dimension, a manifestation of it in ecstasy and holiness. As the thematic method would have produced a delimitation of poetry volumes, I chose to analyze, from a psycho-critical point of view, the following texts: Our House, Bearing in Twilight, Song of the Soul (Poems with Angels), After Harvest, Spring in the Cemetery, Court desertion, precisely to provide a unitary view of the reception of texts belonging to different volumes of poetry.
