Abstract

In the present paper, we have identified ways in which Romanian editors brought e-books closer to the reader and unique marketing campains they create in order to promote digital literature. We did not deal with hyperliterature but with electronic literature, that means transformation of the written text into an e-book or audiobook. The aim was to show that book marketing, implicitly advertising, are useful, insofar as they promote classic authors and good quality books and that the format does not matter, as long as the text achieves its purpose: it is enjoyed by as many readers as possible. The online market in Romania is constantly expanding, but it still has a long way to go to form a stable audience.
