Abstract

I chose to study the text of Constantin Diaconovici-Loga " Orthografia sau dreapta scrisoare
pentru îndreptarea scriitorilor limbii românești, text printed at Buda in 1818. It was written using the
Romanian Cyrillic script of the time and has a relative stability, higher than the Cyrillic scriptof previous
centuries and much larger than that of the Latin lettering proposed by the various etymological
orientations in the second half of the nineteenth century.
