Ipostaze ale Orientului apropiat în memorialistica de călătorie a lui Dimitrie Bolintineanu
Abstract
The travel memoir in which Bolintineanu describes spaces belonging to
the Near East focuses on two convergent narrative and meaning levels: the
documentary reconstruction itself, based on multiple information, monographically
organized, doubled, when necessary, by counter-arguments resulting from direct
observation of realities, respectively the livresque reconstruction, in which mythical
scenarios/stories, legends of places are accumulated, doubled by metatextual
reflections regarding the travel memoir in general, and the livresque hypostases of
the Orient thus accredited - clichéd and props - romantic -, from which the writer
explicitly detaches himself.
