Reconstrucție identitară prin scriitura recuperatorie a „cărții vorbite”. Norman Manea, Curierul de Est. Dialog cu Edward Kanterian
Abstract
Consisting of a interrogating people about the events in their past, the narrative interview appeals to the selective affective memory. The interviewied subject choose the most important remarcable moments for him, with relevance for „his own personal history”, with the purpose of a allotting retroactively a significance to his own identity script. The relationship centre – edge caused Norman Manea’s identity structure to reconfigure. These two poles have not got into conflict but have highlighted each other: his being fed up prevented him from adopting the shallowness of American pop culture and his democratic disengagement have made him visible in the landscape of present Romanian literature. Kanterian’s questions generate a confession dialogue, about himself and the world, sliding from a theme to another, from a culture to another, giving the impression of an identity-puzzle.
