SPEECH STRUCTURING MARKS IN CASES OF INTERACTIONS IN CURRENT ROMANIAN TV DISCOURSE

Abstract

The motivation for choosing the theme is based on the insufficient number
of studies that analyze, exclusively, the pragmatic markers of discursive structuring,
based on a corpus that includes cultural TV shows, such as talk shows and television
debates. Regarding the methods, we state that the main method that is used in our
study is corpus linguistics. The aim of our study is to identify, make an inventory
and analyze the pragmatic markers of discursive structuring, taking into account the
pragmatic function they have in discourse (pragmalinguistic analysis). The cultural
shows that we selected for the prsent study are useful in terms of analyzing the way
in which the pragmatic markers of discursive structuring are used in the two
television “genres”, the talk show and the televised debate. Our study analyzes,
from the perspective of pragmatic markers of discursive structuring that occur in
discourse, two television shows that are included in the television discourse. These
television shows have as a common element the main guest, Gigi Căciuleanu, which
is a famous dancer and choreographer
