ON REPETITION IN ROMANIAN LINGUISTICS: A FEW OBSERVATIONS

Abstract

As a general phenomen, the repetition, as a linguistic device, may be considered at different levels: phonetic, lexical, morphological as well as stylistic level. No matter its structure, the repetition points out the speaker's intention to emphasize the significance of teh repeated term. The purpose of our paper is to present its different forms of manifestation as well as its meanings.
