ROMANIAN PHRASEOLOGY FROM A ROMANCE PERSPECTIVE: A TRIBUTE TO EUGENIU COȘERIU

Abstract

The text briefly describes an editorial project dedicated to Eugeniu Coseriu’s writings on the Romanian language, on Romanian phraseology from a Romance perspective. The project, which Coseriu was aware of and enthusiastically agreed to, consist in the selection of twelve titles, subsequently supplemented,
through revisions and critical re-examination of form and content, by three other titles, resulting in fifteen studies and articles dedicated to the Romanian language, translated from German, French or Spanish. Our projest is addressed to all those who value the scholar’s mind and work, admire his spirit and sensitivity.
