NAME OF JOURNAL
The title of the journal, The Annals of Dunărea de Jos University of Galaţi, Fasc. XX, Sociology, is unique and stable. It is published under the aegis of Galati University Press, within “Dunărea de Jos” University of Galați.

PEER REVIEW PROCESS
Editors provide authors with clear guidance regarding manuscript requirements. After the initial editorial evaluation, manuscripts accepted for further processing undergo a double-blind peer review by two experts.
Following review, articles may be:
a) accepted without modifications;
b) accepted pending specific changes;
c) rejected.
Authors are informed of the decision within 90 days.
If plagiarism is detected, the article is rejected immediately.
All papers are checked with anti-plagiarism software licensed to “Dunărea de Jos” University of Galați (www.sistemantiplagiat.ro).
The editorial board is supported by a group of academic specialists, who evaluate papers in terms of originality, consistency between aims and conclusions, methodology, linguistic accuracy, etc.
Reviewers provide comments, suggestions, and recommendations either in a standard peer review form or directly in the text (marginal comments, track-changes).
If reviewers’ opinions diverge, the final decision rests with the responsible editor.

The journal is a non-profit academic publication of the Faculty of History, Philosophy and Theology, under the aegis of Galati University Press, “Dunărea de Jos” University of Galați.
