Abstract

The republic of Moldova can be considered a state whose legitimacy is conferred by its capacity to create general well-being for its citizens. Otherwise, Moldovan citizens might search for well-being, and getting double citizenship might be a step in this direction. The aim of this study is to identify a possible correlation between getting a double citizenship in the Republic of Moldova and the current living conditions at national level, and whether getting double citizenship leads to a rise in the migration of Moldovan citizens.
