Résumé

This paper analyzes a current urban problem, that of the quality of life and its indicators. The qualitative and quantitative research aimed at analyzing the perceptions regarding the quality of life in a neighborhood of the city of Galati, a working-class neighborhood, a product of the process of industrialization and urbanization from the period 1970-1980. The research focused on the following perspectives on health, safety, environmental status, housing, activities and leisure, education, economy.
